Ingredients

Natural fennel seeds

Product Overview

Fennel Seeds are the dried fruit of Foeniculum vulgare, called maha duru in Sri Lanka. The ingredient is listed as natural fennel seeds. The seeds are pale green, ridged and slightly curved, with a sweet aroma like anise, and are used in curry powders, spice blends and herbal teas. The existing listing describes them as sun-dried. This is the second of two Fennel Seeds listings on this site. It is the listing for smaller lots, such as trial orders and orders from smaller packers. Spice packers, herbal tea blenders, grocery importers, food service suppliers and retailers buy fennel seed in these formats. The packaging list covers laminated pouches, PET jars, kraft paper stand-up bags, bulk polypropylene sacks and cardboard canisters. Private label packing is listed as available. Say which of the two listings your enquiry is about, and ask for moisture and cleanliness figures on a specification sheet if you need them. Quotes can be given FOB or CIF from Colombo, and you can ask for the order terms with your quotation. Tell us which export documents your customs authority requires. To request a quote, email us from the Contact page or the How to order page and state the quantity, pack size, destination port and any documents you need.
