Questions importers and wholesalers ask

Short answers about quotations, samples, packing, shipping terms and documents. For anything specific to your order, send us the details and we will answer in writing.

How do I request a quote from Truly Ceylon?

Email our export team: the address is on the How to order page and on the Contact page. Include the product, quantity, pack size, destination port and the documents you need. The export team replies by email with a written quotation.

What is the minimum order quantity?

It depends on the product, grade and packing. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and the quotation will state what is possible.

Do you show prices on the website?

No. Prices are on request: they depend on grade, quantity, packaging and destination, so they are given in a written quotation rather than on the website.

Can I get samples before I order?

Yes, you can ask for samples through the Request Samples page or in your quote request. Tell us which products you want to evaluate and your delivery address, and we will confirm what can be sent and any cost.

Which shipping terms do you work with?

The Incoterms offered for each product are listed in its Logistics tab, together with the port of loading. Tell us the term you prefer and your destination, and the quotation will be prepared on that basis.

Which export documents can you provide?

Tell us at quotation stage which documents your customs authority requires. Documents and test reports can be discussed for each order.

Do you offer private label or custom packing?

Private label and custom pack sizes can be discussed for the products whose packaging options mention them. See the Private Label page and the Logistics tab of the product, then send us your pack size, artwork status and target market.

Where do your products come from?

Truly Ceylon is the export brand of Red Agri Private Limited in Pannipitiya, Sri Lanka. Products are sourced from Sri Lankan producers. The origin of each product is shown in its Specifications tab.

How do I know a product meets the rules in my country?

Import rules are set by the authority in the destination country and they differ by product. Check the requirements with your customs broker or food authority, then send them to us with your quote request so that the specification, labelling and documents can be matched to them.

How do I send an enquiry?

By email. The website has no enquiry forms: write to export@trulyceylon.com from your own email app. The Contact page shows the address with a button that copies it.

How can I pay?

Payment terms are stated in the written quotation and the proforma invoice. If your company has a required payment method, mention it in your quote request.

How long does delivery take?

Lead time depends on the product, quantity and packing, and transit time on the route and whether the order moves by sea or air. Your quotation states the expected schedule for your destination.

I am a Sri Lankan producer. Can I list my products?

Yes. Producers can apply by email; the Partner page explains how. Tell us about your products and the categories you supply, and the supplier relationships team will contact you.

Ready to ask for a price?

Tell us the product, quantity, packing and destination port.
