Product Overview

Cinnamon quills are a Sri Lankan product: the Department of Export Agriculture says quill making is unique to the country. According to the Department of Cinnamon Development, bark sheets are stacked on top of each other, filled with small pieces and formed into quills 42 or 21 inches long, then dried in the shade. C4 belongs to the Continental group, part of the Heen Kurundu or smooth cinnamon category. The Department table lists C4 with a quill diameter of 16 mm, 22 quills of 42 inches to the kilogram and 15% foxing. It is thicker than C5, which is listed at 12 mm. The quills are light brown. Typical uses are cooking and baking, bakery products, Asian foods and beverages. C4 grade is listed as available on request, and packaging is available on request. Send the grade, quantity, packing and destination port by email from the Contact page or the How to order page. Documents and test reports can be discussed for each order.
