Sri Lankan Ceramic Wall and Floor Tiles

Tiles, including wall tiles and floor tiles, are one of the four main product groups that the Export Development Board (EDB) lists for the Sri Lankan ceramic industry. EDB says the country exports glazed wall and floor tiles alongside porcelain tableware and ornamental ware. The EDB sector report says floor tiles come in a wide range of shades, designs, finishes and sizes for residential and commercial buildings, from simple glazed tiles to printed and hand painted types. Textures include matt, rough, gloss, stone, marble and terra-cotta finishes in self-colours or shades. Wall tiles are offered in a variety of colours, textures and sizes, including special trim tiles, decorated tiles and handmade and hand painted tiles. These tiles are listed as available on request, as a standard export product of Sri Lanka. Packaging is available on request.
