Product Overview

Sri Lanka exports industrial solid tyres for agricultural, industrial and logistics vehicles. The Export Development Board describes a solid tyre as an airless tyre, made from layers of rubber built around a metal frame or wheel structure. It says they are stable, puncture-resistant and maintenance-free, with a high load-bearing capacity. The board groups them into three types. A resilient tyre is a solid rubber block with a two or three-layer construction. A press-on tyre is a rubber compound bonded to a steel band that is pressed onto the wheel. A cured-on tyre is moulded directly to the wheel casing. Makers also produce non-marking tyres in white, grey and green for indoor use. They suit forklift trucks, airport vehicles and platform trucks. Industrial solid tyres are listed here as available on request, and packaging is available on request. Send the tyre type, size and vehicle, quantity, packing and destination port by email from the Contact page or the How to order page. Documents and test reports can be discussed for each order.
