Product Overview

Latex crepe is one of the main types of raw rubber produced and exported from Sri Lanka, according to the Export Development Board. It is made from natural rubber latex, and the board names sole crepe for shoes among the rubber products Sri Lankan makers supply to world markets. Crepe rubber comes in various grades. The board says the grade is decided largely by the quality of the latex, the amount of formic acid added, the coagulation time and the washing afterwards. The finished rubber is mostly rolled out in crinkled sheets. These are exported to make soles for shoes and boots and other processed rubber products. Latex crepe rubber is listed here as available on request, and packaging is available on request. Send the crepe grade and thickness you need, quantity, packing and destination port by email from the Contact page or the How to order page.
