Curry Leaves (Dehydrated)

Price on request: prices depend on grade, quantity, packaging and destination.

Dehydrated curry leaves (karapincha) from Sri Lanka: whole dried leaves of the curry leaf tree, used as a cooking herb. Supplied in retail pouches, jars or bulk bags for spice packers and food manufacturers.

Product Overview

Curry leaves are the aromatic leaves of the curry leaf tree, Murraya koenigii, known in Sri Lanka as karapincha. They are a standard cooking herb in Sri Lankan and South Indian food, usually fried briefly in oil. This product is the leaf in dehydrated form, dull dark green and brittle, so that it can be stored and shipped at room temperature. The origin is listed as Sri Lanka. Spice packers and herb brands buy dried curry leaves for retail jars and pouches. Food manufacturers use them in curry powders, seasoning blends, pastes, snacks and ready meals, and restaurants use them where fresh leaves are hard to source. The packaging list covers 10g to 100g stand-up pouches, vacuum-sealed bags, foil-lined sachets, PET spice jars, kraft paper bags, cardboard canisters and bulk HDPE bags. Private label packing is listed as available. Say whether you need whole leaves, crushed leaves or powder.
