Product Overview

Metal trays are the first item the Export Development Board (EDB) names when it describes the brassware craft of Pilimathalawa in the Kandy district. The EDB craft sector report records the brass ware craft industry at the same place. EDB adds that a craft village near Kandy, Kalapuraya, also has many families in the brass industry. These are new brass trays made as craft goods. EDB lists trays among the traditional utensils that Sri Lankan craftsmen make in silver, copper or brass, and says brassware is produced from copper and zinc. Its craft report describes Sri Lankan crafts as largely hand-made. Typical uses are serving and display, table and wall decor, and giftware. Shape, diameter and decoration are agreed for each order. These trays are listed as available on request, as a standard craft export of Sri Lanka. Packaging is available on request. Send the tray shape, size and decoration, quantity, packing and destination port by email from the Contact page or the How to order page. Documents and test reports can be discussed for each order.
